Hi, I’m Colleen.
I’m a writer and management consultant who founded Growth, Inc.
Here’s a little bit about me, and why I built this company.
Influence means options.
It’s how you negotiate the money and flexibility you need, build the relationships you want, start the business you’ve dreamed of—and live the life you actually want.
I learned that firsthand.
The reason I was able to build a multimillion-dollar business within Deloitte wasn’t just strategy or hustle—it was because I mastered the communication and influence skills that today’s world requires to lead others.
Those skills helped me grow a blog no one read into a platform that reaches millions, write a best-selling book, and build a leadership development company on the side of my desk that serves over 60,000 professionals across business, STEM, and academia.
I’ve served clients like General Mills, Cornell, and Bank of America to help their people lead with more confidence, clarity, and connection. I’ve taught at institutions like Cornell and Duke, partnered with ASU on continuing education programs, and advised Fortune 100 leaders on their leadership and communications challenges of today—and tomorrow.
I believe that modern leadership is a communication challenge.
Your ability to influence, inspire, and connect with others isn't just nice to have—it’s your biggest advantage.
And it’s a skill you can build.
Now, I help organizations, academic institutions, and individuals unlock that advantage—so they can lead with more impact and live with more freedom.
Because communicating with influence didn’t just change my career.
It helped me see that I wasn’t small, or in need of empowerment. I was powerful all along.
And I want to help others discover that, too.
Let’s work together. Reach me at hello <at> growth-inc <dot> org.
